Hi Everyone,

We arrived on scene to our starting location yesterday mid morning and didn't see or catch anything so we continued to an area further south. Once we arrived to our next location it was full of life and looked good. We started scratching at yellowfin tuna and most of what we caught were the nicer sized fish that is on tap now with fish averaging 30 to 40 pounds. An hour or so after we started catching fish, things started getting more interesting and we were steady on this better grade tuna. The best method was the flylined sardine on 40#, a fluorocarbon leader, and a 2/0 hook. We were busy for a while as it was very good fishing. A number of these tuna were over the 40 pound mark with some that look to be closer to 50 pounds. A slight change in the current and the bite slowed. From here, we transitioned to dropper loop yellowtail rigs and it was on. Every drop for the rest of the afternoon. Good yellowtail fishing on mostly 14 to 16 pound fish. What a day?  We even picked up a few wahoo. Everyone is stoked. Chef Daniel amazed everyone with dinner again with fresh scallops. Life is Good. Thanks for checking in, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
